TIFSPORT (Tift 94) Varieties

TIFSPORT (Tift 94) was released by the USDA-ARS and licensed exclusively to the University of Georgia Research Foundation (UGARF) for commercialization. Tifsport (Tift 94) is a hybrid bermudagrass. It was selected for tolerance to close mowing, turf quality, mole cricket non-preference and greenup characteristics. It is more winter hardy than Tifway or Tifway II and maintains its green color later into the fall, but initiates regrowth later in the spring. US PLANT PATENT.
